Yes..that's right folks...Todd and I got to see our little blessing live yesterday. ON that amazing thing called ultrasound. Although it is still hard to see exactally how he is all "Put together" we got to watch him move around. And let me tell you that was a thrill I cannot explain. Glory! We also got to see it's little heartbeat. But the best part......OUr baby waved it's tiny little hand at us. I almost fell off the table I was just so in love with that little thing. It was amazing. What a blessing to see how our baby is developing. It has not much bone structure yet, however it has developed knee caps and elbows....hehhe....And it's shoulders are developing. Cool huh. God is so amazing. Yesterday made me fall completely in love with my tiny baby. It really drove it home that is a real living breathing thing inside me. And the doctor was amazing. I loved loved him. Thanks Kay and Kimberly! HE was so gentle, and took us in his office and talked to us afterwards for about 20 minutes. HE even gave us his pager number and said if we ever had questions, even at 2 in the am to call him. And his wife is the nurse, and so is his daughter. So it is a great family run office. I left there so encouraged, and so glad that the Lord picked the perfect doctor to deliver our baby. He also told us he thinks we are a bit farther along, and gives us the due date of August 14th or 15th(which would jive more with what Todd and I think)...So I am either 11 and 1/2 or 12 weeks along. Glory Glory!
Todd and I went on a date to celebrate our baby and our 2 1/2 year anniversary. I had originally wanted to go to a fancy restaruant, but then got a total craving for an Ankars steak and cheese hoagie and french fries. So that was where we went. and it did not dissapoint!
I am so so blessed by your prayers and love for our baby. ! i am going to try to figure out how to scan the ultrasound pic on here so you can see!
Jenn....I miss you bunches!
