Thanksgiving Prayer

O God. My cup overflows. I have so much to give thanks for. Thanks is not enough. You, my faithful God have always taken care of me. You have always been true to never leave me or forsake me. You have given me an incredible godly husband who loves you and leads me. O God, that is more than I could ask or imagine. If you have asked me in highschool if I would be blessed to be married to such an incredible man, I would have said no way. God you have blessed me with a son. You have allowed me to stay home with him. You have given me opportunity to pour into him. You have blessed us with an incredible church family which we prayed for. You allow Todd to do ministry for a living. You have given me health. I have an amazing mom and dad. My mom is one of my best friends. You give me a dad who continually and always has modeled you, God my Father. You loved me enough to give me a twin sis, an instant and forever friend. a sis in law who loves you, and I love. A mother in law I love to death. O God my cup overflows.God you are faithful to meet with me every morning. You have blessed me with a mentor. You have put people in my life to help me grow up in faith. You have shown me incredible mercy. You have been my faithful friend, my refiners fire. My strength. My wisdom. You are soverign. Most of all, Jesus you are firstborn from the dead. Because of this you should have firstplace in everything. i love you!

I had a blast at Shawna and Harrison's wedding.. They are the cutest couple ever. The wedding was so much fun...The day before the wedding not so fun....I had a very bad virus, with a fever of 102....I missed out on all the pre wedding fun...bummer. but I am excitedthe Lord allowed me to go to the wedding. This pic is hilarious. Shawna had a Virginia TEch garter which Harrison loved.
Cheese caught the bouquet.....I think it was planned. But there was some fighting over it:) Watch out girls..

Three months!

O God. Praise the Lord. 3 months of refining, learning, being challenged, experiencing a joy I have never known. Loving someone so much it almost hurts. Thats how I feel about my little man. Praise the Lord. You God have helped me through times of sheer exhaustion. Times I had no clue what to do. You have strengthened me thourgh hours of hours of no sleep, painful nursing. God the gift of Alex is unexplainable. I can't explain how much I love being a mommy. Taking care of Alex, singing to him, loving on him, worshipping You with him, these are some of the best things sI have ever done. Watching him smile at me when I read a Bible story to him. when his little hand grasps mine. Watching his eyes get heavy right before he falls asleep. Watching him play with his hands. what a fun age this is. God you have been my rock. My dwelling place. Your word has een my food. I have loved every part of this journey of being a mom. I feel so blessed and so undeserving. getting ready to be in Shawna's wedding brings it all full circle. WE both struggled with trusting God with our deepest desires, and here I am with 3 month Alex in my arms, and her wedding on Sat. Of course It wasn't in our timing. God thank you that your timing is so much better than ours!Not only that but I am in my promised land. I trusted you to stay at home with Alex. That is beyond my wildest dream. Thanks isnot enough. I have so much to be thankful for. O God my cup overflows!

Lots of fall fun to catch up on!

this is a picure of the wonderful breakfast my hubbie had waiting for me one morning in my quiet time chair. He is the most incredible Christ modeling hubbie. I am so blessed by him.
Aunt JEnn...He loves his bouncer, and is just now starting to kick at the toys and play with them.
This is at our church's fall festival. I am a baker,which you will see why later. I just thought these little guys were hilarious!They are also a part of my mom and I's good news club which is a blast and growing like crazy. We had 55 kids two weeks ago. Glory..staying afterschool to hear a story of the bible.

These are just a few pics of adventures lately. I love the fall weather. Today was Alex's first Thanksgiving dinner at church....He looks so cute in the turkey outfit aunt laura gave him.
We had the missions conference this weekend at church and it was great. The speakers, Grover and Dr. Cuellar where great. Grover shared exciting news about teh Nepali fellowship which is still going on after we left.
I am so blessed! There is so much to be thankful for during this season...And BIG NEWS........I am so thankful that......ALEX SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT LAST NIGHT!That's right..The whole night, from 9:30 to 6:00 am! Praise the Lord. I am so blessed by how the Lord ahs substained me in these three months. His strength is perfect when our strenght is not.
